– 1 cup quinoa, rinsed and drained – 2 cups water – 2 ripe pears, peeled, cored, and diced – 1/2 cup chopped pecans (or your favorite nuts) – 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup – 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon – 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg – 4 large egg – 1 1/2 cups milk (dairy or plant-based) – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – A pinch of salt – Cooking spray or butter for greasing the baking dish

Instruction

Prepare the Quinoa: In a saucepan, combine the quinoa and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 15-20 minutes or until the quinoa is tender and the water is absorbed. Fluff with a fork and let it cool. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter. Combine Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked quinoa, diced pears, chopped pecans, honey or maple syrup, ground cinnamon, and nutmeg. Mix well to ensure all ingredients are evenly distributed.
