Peel the Chickpeas (Optional): For an even smoother texture, you can peel the chickpeas by gently squeezing them between your fingers. This step is optional but can enhance the creaminess. Combine Ingredients: In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, tahini, fresh lemon juice, garlic cloves, ground cumin, a drizzle of extra-virgin olive oil, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Blend Until Smooth: Process the mixture until it becomes a creamy paste. You may need to scrape down the sides of the food processor and blend a few times to ensure a smooth consistency.
