Dip in Buttermilk: Dip the okra slices into buttermilk, ensuring they are coated evenly. Coat with Cornmeal Mixture: Transfer the buttermilk-coated okra to the cornmeal mixture and toss to coat thoroughly. Ensure each piece is nicely coated with the seasoned mixture.
